S. Rose is a New York born Poet and Spoken Word Artist. She has been developing her craft by working the New York Spoken Word / Poetry scene vigorously performing at Open Mic nights throughout her beloved city. Rose has performed at some of the hottest stages like the legendary Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Hexagon Lounge, Harlem Night and Red Lobster's staple Monday night open mic series. Rose has even braved the stage at the world famous Apollo Theatre.Rose has also developed a program to bring Spoken Word and Poetry as an outlet to inner city youth. Rose has completed her first book of Poetry entitled The Sista Girl's Manifesto which is currently available on Amazon.
